DROPFAKECreative Direction + Brand Design
Brand identity and launch system for Dropfake, an indie studio I co founded. Instead of leaning into high tech gloss, we pulled from broadcast color bars, early computing, and pixel type paired with classic serifs, giving the studio an intentional lofi vibe that puts craft ahead of tech
BRAND GUIDELINES & ASSET TOOLKIT SNIPPET
Visual standards developed for the launch of Dropfake, an independent, remote first game studio. The identity plays with pairing bite sized pixel lettering alongside a refined classic serif, tied together with an SMPTE inspired broadcast bar system designed to scale across digital and physical touchpoints
STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE (S.O.P.):
Studio Brand Launch / Homepage Reel. Designed as an anti-trailer to greet prospective hires and early community members, the piece establishes the studio’s baseline: stripping game design back down to zero to build something genuinely distinct.
VISUAL IDENTITY & LAUNCH SYSTEM ELEMENTS
Translating the Dropfake ethos across digital and physical touchpoints. From CRT pixel-distortion experiments and environmental booth architecture to tactile print collateral, the identity blends retro-mechanical hardware aesthetics with a clean, subversive studio presence.© 2025 WYLIE STYLES — design as authorship
